Samsung’s official Galaxy S26 teasers have so far revolved around camera upgrades and Privacy Display, but the latest preview shifts the spotlight to AI performance. This time, the company is highlighting just how fast AI-powered image generation works on the upcoming flagship lineup, including real-time edits within videos.

Galaxy S26’s AI prowess showcased in new teaser

In the latest episode of Samsung’s “Can your phone do that?” series, which teases Galaxy S26 upgrades, the company put the spotlight on AI image generation. “Galaxy AI has learned some new tricks,” Samsung said in an X post. “Get ready to upgrade to the next level of photo editing.”

The short demo video features a man sitting inside a laundromat, followed by a simple text prompt to Galaxy AI: Add party animals. Within just a few seconds, the system generates and inserts lifelike dogs into the scene, placed naturally and proportionally. The animals look convincingly real, blending into the environment without awkward edges or obvious artifacts.

The speed is what stands out most. There’s no long processing bar or cloud-dependent delay. The edit appears almost instantly, reinforcing Samsung’s claim that this is “next-level photo editing.” Actual real-life performance might show some delays, but we still expect notable improvements over the current generation.

Reports suggest Samsung is teaming up with Nota AI to bring EdgeFusion to the Galaxy S26 series. This AI framework enables faster on-device image generation and editing, and the latest teaser likely shows that. The new flagships will be officially unveiled on February 25 in San Francisco. Reservations are already live, with pre-orders expected to begin immediately after launch.
