Samsung’s 25W Qi2 Charger Surfaces Ahead of Galaxy S26 Launch

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to offer a faster wireless charging with the Galaxy S26 series. Now, a few images of the company’s upcoming 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charger have surfaced online. This gives us a first look at the charger while hinting at the improvements coming to the flagship lineup.
Here’s our first look at Samsung’s upcoming 25W magnetic charger
Last month, we learned that Samsung is working on an official magnetic wireless charger with model number EP-P2900. At the time, it revealed that the charger would support up to 25W charging, but we didn’t see what it actually looked like. Now, SamMobile has shared the first images of the charger, revealing the design and features.
The images show a circular magnetic charging puck with a USB Type-C port on one side. The cable likely uses nylon braided, which increases durability, lifespan, and reliability. To reach maximum charging speed, Samsung recommends using a 45W power adapter, as noted on the charger’s box. Needless to say, the charger will feature magnets for proper phone alignment. It could come in a single dark gray color.
There’s a chatter that the new charger may offer its full 25W wireless charging only with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ could support up to 20W. If you own older Galaxy phones such as the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, you can also use the charger, though compatibility will remain limited to 15W. Note that these models need a compatible case, as they are technically “Qi2 Ready” and lack built-in magnets.
As for the Galaxy S26 series, the models may feature built-in magnets for Qi2 support. This will eliminate the need for special cases and ensure that users can reach maximum charging speeds right out of the box. The price and availability of the 25W magnetic wireless charger should surface in the coming weeks.
