Exynos 2600 Confirmed for Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+

Samsung will power the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ with its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, a fresh benchmark listing reveals. The Korean variant of the Plus model recently surfaced on Geekbench running the new Exynos processor, following an earlier sighting of the base model. So far, there’s been no sign of the Galaxy S26 Ultra using Exynos 2600, reinforcing rumors that it will rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally.

Galaxy S26+ appears on Geekbench with Exynos 2600

First spotted by @yabhishekhd, the Galaxy S26+ appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-S947N, which corresponds to the South Korean variant. The listing shows the device with Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset. The deca-core processor has one C1 Ultra core running at 3.80GHz for heavy workloads. Additionally, it packs three C1 Pro cores at 3.26GHz and six more C1 Pro cores clocked slightly lower at 2.76GHz.

Graphics duties are handled by the Xclipse 960 GPU, which continues Samsung’s collaboration with AMD for its RDNA-based graphics architecture. The device delivered an OpenCL score of 24,964 in this Geekbench v6.5 run, pointing to strong GPU performance. The listing also confirms Android 16-based software (should be One UI 8.5) and 12GB of RAM. Samsung is expected to sell the Galaxy S26+ in 256GB and 512GB storage options.

While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the launch date, it’s hardly a secret now. All leaks point to a February 25 unveiling of the Galaxy S26 series at an Unpacked event in San Francisco, USA. Samsung may open preorders on the same day in most markets, or within a few days of the launch event. General sales could begin on March 11, with preorders expected to reach buyers in the second week of March.
