As shared by @theonecid on X, Samsung has now started pushing the January 2026 security update to the Galaxy S25 series in Canada. That means the latest security patch is available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The build version in question is S93*WVLS7BYLR, and the update size is 553.96 MB. As usual, these security updates don’t bring any new features.

The January 2026 security update includes fixes for more than 50 vulnerabilities. It resolves issues found in core Android components as well as in Samsung’s own apps and system services. While the severity of these issues varies, you should still install the patch as soon as possible.

If you live in Canada and own a Galaxy S25 device, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now. Your device will restart and run the latest security patch.
