These 2026 Samsung TVs Will Support HDR10+ ADVANCED

In November 2025, Samsung confirmed support for HDR10+ ADVANCED on its 2026 TVs. The company has now revealed which models will feature this next-generation HDR technology. This will let you experience brighter, more detailed, and smoother picture quality for movies, sports, and gaming.

Samsung brings HDR10+ ADVANCED to its 2026 premium TVs

While Samsung has yet to fully reveal its 2026 TV lineup, the company has confirmed that HDR10+ ADVANCED will feature on its premium models across the Neo QLED, OLED, Micro RGB, and Lifestyle categories. As such, the company’s next-gen smart TVs will deliver “enhanced brightness, genre-based optimisation, intelligent motion smoothing, advanced local tone mapping and improved gaming experience”.

Since HDR10+ adoption is increasing among major OTT providers, Samsung is bringing this advanced HDR technology to the following 2026 TV models:

• Neo QLED TVs: QN990H, QN80H
• OLED TVs: S85H, S90H, S95H
• The Frame TVs: LS03H, LS03HW
• Micro RGB TVs: R90H, R95H

For the uninitiated, HDR10+ ADVANCED is an upgraded version of HDR10+ technology. This cutting-edge format elevates HDR10+ performance to a whole new level with a bunch of new features. For example, enhanced overall brightness uses extended metadata to make bright scenes more vivid, while intelligent motion smoothing addresses the effects of visible “judder” in scenes. Furthermore, genre-based optimization allows the TV to tailor picture processing depending on the type of content. Likewise, Adaptive Cloud Gaming lets cloud games adapt to ambient light in real-time.

“With the development of HDR10+ ADVANCED dynamic metadata, content creators and entertainment enthusiasts can finally realize the ultimate video experience, no matter how demanding their needs,” said Bill Mandel, co-manager of HDR10+ Technologies, LLC.

Meanwhile, Samsung is expanding its Micro RGB TV lineup to include models in sizes ranging from 55 to 130 inches. At CES 2026, the company also revealed its vision for the future of television. The firm aims to focus more on Vision AI Companion (VAC) technology that makes TVs more intuitive and conversational. On top of that, it seeks to introduce cutting-edge hardware with connected, intelligent experiences.
