What are the RAM and storage options for the Galaxy S26 series?

As expected, Samsung has unveiled a familiar Galaxy S26 trio, with not many changes to memory and storage configurations. The one notable update is a long-overdue upgrade to the base Galaxy S26, which now starts at 256GB instead of 128GB. It comes at a cost though, with the starting price now bumped to $899 instead of $799.

Nonetheless, this brings the standard Galaxy S26 in line with the Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra, all of which now start with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. The RAM remains LPDDR5X, the same type used in the S25 series, but Samsung has increased the memory speeds across the Galaxy S26 lineup. However, there is one RAM upgrade reserved exclusively for the top-tier model.

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ max out at 12GB of RAM, but the Galaxy S26 Ultra offers 16GB with the 1TB variant. The 256GB, 512GB, and even the 1TB variants of the Galaxy S26 Ultra otherwise come with 12GB of RAM.
