Samsung’s latest Galaxy S26 series is now official, and it comes running One UI 8.5 out of the box. That means we can expect the One UI 8.5 update to roll out to eligible Galaxy devices in the coming days or weeks. But which devices will get it? Ideally, every device that received the One UI 8 update should also be eligible, and you may want to check the full list.

One UI 8.5 may reach nearly 100 Galaxy devices in 2026

As we said, if your Samsung device is eligible for One UI 8 or shipped with the Android 16-based update out of the box, then it is likely to receive One UI 8.5 at some point. Some budget models may miss out on the upcoming version, but the company is still expected to deliver One UI 8.5 to nearly 100 Galaxy smartphones and tablets in 2026. Below is the full list based on Samsung’s support policy and simple calculations.

Flagships

Foldables

Tablets

Budget and mid-range models

Note that this isn’t an official list. Samsung’s roadmap is always subject to change, so some devices mentioned here may ultimately miss out on the One UI 8.5 update. However, based on current information, these are the models most likely to receive the upcoming update.

When will the update arrive?

Samsung has not shared an official release window for One UI 8.5. However, now that the Galaxy S26 series has launched with the latest One UI 8.5 out of the box, the wider rollout likely will not take much longer. That said, we have also spotted beta forums for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which could mean a slight delay if they receive a beta program first. So far, Samsung has already rolled out six beta rounds for the Galaxy S25 series, which began in December 2025.
