Google Brings Nano Banana to AI Mode for Desktop Search

Google is making Nano Banana, its image generation and editing model, available in Search. The company has integrated the model into AI Mode for desktop users, letting them create images from the AI search interface. This feature appears to be rolling out gradually around the globe, so not all users may see it the right way.

Google now lets you generate and edit images directly in AI Mode

For the uninitiated, Google’s AI Mode is a powerful AI search tool that goes beyond regular text-based search. The tool can answer complex questions with helpful links to explore the source. Now, with the integration of Nano Banana for desktop users, the tool becomes more helpful, particularly for creative tasks.

It’s quite simple to use Nano Banana in AI Mode. You can put a description of the image you want, and the model will create it instantly. Moreover, you can upload a photo of a person or pet and change their outfit, location. You could try different costumes or professions while still looking like the original person.

There are mainly two ways to use it (via Windowsreport):

• In Chrome browser: You need to click the AI Mode button in the address bar. Now select Create images, and type a prompt.
• In any browser: Sign into a Google account, and visit google.com. Now, click the AI Mode button > Create images > enter a prompt.

In addition to AI Mode, you can access Nano Banana through Circle to Search. It lets you select any content on the screen and instantly generate images from it. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy users can use Nano Banana through the Now Brief.
