November 2025 Update for Galaxy S24 Now Live in the US and Europe

Samsung has begun a global rollout of its November 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24 series. The 2024 flagship lineup is now receiving the latest security in the US, Europe, and more markets. This expansion follows the initial release in South Korea last week.

Galaxy S24’s November 2025 update goes global

The Galaxy S24 series was part of a bunch of devices that received Samsung’s latest security update last week. As usual, the company began the rollout in Korea. Now, the devices are receiving the November 2025 security patch in global markets. Users in the US and Europe can already download the update, with additional regions expected to follow shortly.

Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users in these regions can identify the new firmware release by a build number ending in CYK2. The update weighs in at a little over 450MB, though the exact size varies depending on the model and region. Like always, the update can be downloaded through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

While not a feature-packed update, this release plays an important role in device security. The November 2025 patch addresses nearly four dozen vulnerabilities across Android, Samsung’s One UI software, and other system components. Samsung will continue issuing this update to more eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the coming days.
