Check Out This Bold Galaxy Z TriFold Concept Dual Cover Screen

If leaks are accurate, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z TriFold on December 5, 2025. Much of the device is already an open secret, from its key specs to its dual inward-folding design. Now, a new fan-made concept imagines how the TriFold lineup could evolve in the future.
Galaxy Z TriFold concept render shows a dual-cover-screen design
Shared by prominent leaker Ice Universe on Weibo, the concept imagines a Galaxy Z TriFold with two functional cover screens, giving the device a completely new level of versatility. You basically get a regular Galaxy Z Fold-type screen on the back, and a bigger panel on the front. Similar to Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate lineup, the device folds in a “Z” shape. You can see the render below.
Of course, Samsung is unlikely to adopt such a complex design anytime soon due to durability challenges. It requires folding displays on both sides, while all current foldables feature a rigid cover screen, offering greater scratch resistance when the device is folded. However, this could represent the next major evolution once the TriFold technology matures.
Samsung’s first-gen model will feature a 6.5-inch outer cover display, positioned at the center. This layout keeps the two side panels folding inward, a design choice the company is using to bolster overall durability and reduce exposure to external elements. On the inside, you get a massive 10-inch screen.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is Samsung’s most ambitious project since it first entered the foldable scene in 2019. However, the company doesn’t expect to sell many units right away. Rumors suggest the device will see a limited initial launch next month, with wider availability possible early next year, including the US. We will let you know when we have more information on the much-awaited tri-folding phone.
