As exciting as One UI 8 is, the Watch version is just as fun. In this case, the fun mostly refers to the new animations, visual tweaks, and other changes. Samsung doesn’t make as many smartwatches as it does phones, so the list is shorter. Which Galaxy Watches have received the One UI 8 Watch update so far?

The One UI 8 Watch update debuted on the Galaxy Watch 8 series and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). Shortly after that, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) received the update as well. Since then, the rollout has been noticeably slow, something we discussed in an opinion piece. But today marks the completion of One UI 8 Watch rollout, all these Galaxy Watches have received the update:

• Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
• Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
• Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic

To check whether the update is available in your region or to install the latest firmware, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone > Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install. Take note, however, that Samsung often takes time to roll out the updates to every region, and if you see your Galaxy Watch in this list but still haven’t received the update, you should keep checking for the update.
