Samsung Adds New Haring and Basquiat Collections to Art Store

One of the nice things about the Samsung Art Store is that it continues to expand its catalog. Recently, there have been several additions, including Winslow Homer’s watercolors, the Art Basel Paris collection, the Museum of Modern Art collections, and many more. Most recently, the Samsung Art Store is bringing exclusive collections from Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Samsung Art Store adds 24 iconic pieces from art legends, Haring and Basquiat
Most importantly, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat are two of the most influential artists to emerge from New York’s 1980s art scene. The update brings 12 new works from Haring and 12 new works from Basquiat. All these are coming thanks to Samsung’s partnership with Artestar, the agency that manages both artists’ estates. These pieces are available on The Frame Pro, The Frame, Micro RGB TV, Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and Samsung’s QLED lineup.

Haring’s new selection includes everything fans expect from him. This includes radiant babies and barking dogs to running hearts and his familiar subway chalk sketches. Basquiat’s collection leans into the layered style that made him such a defining voice in modern art. Samsung has added works like Mitchel Crew, Captain America, Palm Spring Jump, Philistines, and King of the Zulus. This is only the second time Basquiat’s pieces have been officially released for any digital display, the press release notes.
In a statement, Samsung Visual Display Business EVP, Yong Su Kim, said:
“Samsung remains deeply committed to fostering meaningful partnerships with artists and artists’ estates, ensuring that each project honors the authentic vision and legacy of the creator while allowing their work to reach and inspire a broader global audience through Samsung’s scale. Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat created visual languages that are recognizable around the world, and we’re delighted to bring these powerful artworks to our digital platform for global audiences to enjoy at home.”
On the other hand, Artestar’s Founder and CEO, David Stark, commented:
“Working with Samsung Art Store is a great opportunity to share the iconic works of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat with a large global audience. Through Samsung’s innovative Art Store platform, the work of these two groundbreaking artists can reach fans and newcomers alike in an incredibly accessible and direct way.”
