Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 60W Fast Wired Charging Looks Confirmed

This week has been full of exciting leaks about the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Now, another rumor has caught everyone’s attention, as it hints at faster charging speeds. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could finally bring support for 60W fast charging, something fans have been waiting for all along. Until now, Samsung’s highest charging speed on a smartphone has been limited to 45W.
Galaxy S26 Ultra may support 60W fast charging
Tipster Phonefuturist revealed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature 60W wired charging, marking a major step up from the 45W speed offered by the S25 Ultra. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to stick with 25W fast charging, similar to their predecessors. These rumors have been around for some time, and the latest leak appears to confirm them.

When it comes to wireless charging, Samsung seems to be making small but meaningful improvements too. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to support 25W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the S26 and S26+ could come with 20W wireless charging. That’s an upgrade compared to the 15W wireless charging limit on the Galaxy S25 series. Although the jump may not seem massive, it shows that Samsung is trying to enhance the overall charging experience this year.
The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to debut in early 2026, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The series will include the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The Fan Edition (FE) variant is expected later in the year, following Samsung’s usual pattern. The launch will also mark the debut of One UI 8.5. This update is said to bring a refreshed design, smoother animations, and visual improvements throughout the system.
On the inside, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite, while the S26 and S26+ are expected to use the Exynos 2600. Samsung seems to be entering the final development stage as it gears up for the flagship launch next year.
