Samsung India recently announced the winners of Solve for Tomorrow 2025, its nationwide innovation challenge for real community problem solvers. The company offered a grant of INR 10 million (approx. Samsung picked four winning teams for Solve for Tomorrow 2025
This year’s Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 saw an overwhelming response from young innovators across India. The jury panel evaluated the finalists’ solutions across four thematic tracks. They were 1) AI for a Safer, Smarter, and Inclusive Bharat, 2) Future of Health, Hygiene, and Well-being in India, 3) Environmental Sustainability via Technology, and 4) Social Change through Sport and Tech. The finalists also got hands-on access to FITT’s advanced research and development infrastructure, where they improved their concept before the Grand Finale.
After months of mentorship rounds, prototype development, and bootcamps, the panel chose four winning teams for Solve for Tomorrow 2025. They were Percevia (Bengaluru), NextPlay.AI (Aurangabad), Paraspeak (Gurugram), and Prithvi Rakshak (Palamu). They will continue their work with mentors at IIT Delhi’s FITT Labs.

Speaking of the winning teams, Percevia created AI-powered wearable glasses that provide real-time spatial awareness for the visually impaired. The glasses use voice and vibration feedback to identify objects. NextPlay.AI developed a mobile-first AI sports platform that includes a virtual coach, AI referee, and neuro-inclusive tracker.
Meanwhile, Paraspeak built a speech enhancement device that uses deep-learning algorithms to convert slurred speech (dysarthria) into clear communication. Prithvi Rakshak developed a green app that encourages sustainable living through activities like tree adoption, recycling, and gamified eco-actions.
Furthermore, Samsung also recognized great talent through special awards. The event included two Goodwill Awards and two Young Innovator Awards, each worth INR 100,000. A Social Media Champion Award (INR 50,000) was also given.
“This generation of young innovators is exactly what India needs. They are capable of designing with purpose, not just imitating what is being done globally. When ideas emerge from the ground up, rooted in local challenges, they have the power to transform our trajectory as a product nation,” said Prof. Ajay K Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
