Breaking! Samsung Begins Global Rollout of One UI 8 for Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung has kicked off a global rollout of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series. The big Android 16 update is now available for beta users in India, Germany, and the UK. The update should soon hit non-beta users in these markets before expanding to the rest of the world.
One UI 8 stable goes global, starting with the Galaxy S25 series
Earlier this week, Samsung released the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge in Korea. The company is now rolling out the update in other beta-supported markets. We have yet to confirm the availability in Poland and the US (the remaining two beta markets), but it’s likely just around the corner.
While the OTA release for beta users weighs less than 6GB, the update for Galaxy S25 users on One UI 7 will be massive. Expect a download size of around 4GB, depending on the model and region. Based on Android 16, One UI 8 brings a fresh wave of upgrades to Galaxy devices. It refines the overall design language with cleaner visuals, smoother animations, and smarter customization options that adapt to individual usage patterns.
One UI 8 also packs new AI-driven features that enhance productivity and everyday use. Together, these changes aim to deliver a more fluid, intelligent, and user-friendly interface across Samsung’s ecosystem. The Galaxy S25 series leads the way, but Samsung is expected to update other eligible Galaxy devices to One UI 8 in the coming weeks. It should complete the rollout before the end of the year.
As usual, users can check for updates from Settings > Software update > Download and install. Since this is a big update, ensure sufficient battery and a stable internet connection (downlaod over Wi-Fi to avoid incurring unwanted data charges) before proceeding. You need to restart your phone to complete the process.
