Here’s When Samsung Could Roll Out One UI 8 in Global Markets

While Samsung has begun rolling out its One UI 8 for Galaxy devices, the update is available only in its home country, South Korea. More importantly, only the Galaxy S25 series (including S25 Edge) is currently getting the taste of the Android 16-based software. Fortunately, the company has confirmed when other eligible Galaxy devices will receive the stable version, at least in Brazil. If this schedule applies to other global markets, users can expect the rollout to begin around September 18.

We already know the One UI 8 upgrade plan for the Korean market, which suggests that the company won’t complete the rollout until November 2025. Furthermore, the company also shared the list of every Galaxy device that is eligible for the new software. Now, the One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil has come to light, which sparks excitement among Galaxy users around the world.

According to the One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil, the Galaxy S series will start picking up the update beginning with the S25 lineup from September 18. This will be followed by the S24 series from September 25, the S23 series from October 2, and the S22 series from October 6.

Speaking of the Galaxy Z series, the rollout begins with the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 on September 25. This will be followed by the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 on October 2, and the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 from October 6. Likewise, for the Galaxy A series, the company will begin rolling out the update to the A56 and A36 on September 25. As for the Galaxy Tab devices, the Tab S10 series will be the first to receive the update on October 2.
