Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 FE has been launched as the fifth and final model in the S25 lineup. It comes with several upgrades over its predecessor, including an improved Armor Aluminum frame. One feature that stands out, especially for a mid-range phone, is how easy it is to repair. The Galaxy S25 FE has earned a high repairability score in teardown.

Galaxy S25 FE earns 9/10 in repairability, in line with other S25 cousins

PBKReviews tore down the Galaxy S25 FE to examine its internals, giving a rare look at what the phone looks like from the inside. This is not something most people would experience unless they attempt to take it apart. And you really shouldn’t. The main takeaway from the teardown video is that the Galaxy S25 FE earns an impressive 9 out of 10 for repairability. Check out some screenshots from the video:

For comparison, PBKReviews gave a score of 9 out of 10 to all the other phones in the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Edge, and S25 Ultra.

As usual, the YouTuber starts by removing the SIM tray from the Galaxy S25 FE. He then uses heat to take off the back panel, giving viewers a rare look inside the phone. There are 21 screws that must be removed to go further.

The video shows that the battery, which has pull tabs for easy removal, can be replaced without using too much force. It also shows the main and sub-board connections, the bottom speaker assembly, and the camera modules. Only the main and telephoto rear cameras have optical image stabilization.

Other repair-friendly features include camera glass covers that can be replaced easily, a modular charging port and SIM reader, and easy access to the fingerprint scanner and the volume and power button cables. The vapor chamber and various liquid damage indicators for safety are also shown.

Samsung is currently offering a free storage upgrade with the Galaxy S25 FE. You can get the 256GB version for the price of the 128GB model, which costs $649.99. Trade-in discounts can save you up to an additional $400.
