Samsung Launches Vision AI Companion at IFA 2025 for TVs and Monitors

Samsung has launched Vision AI Companion at IFA 2025 for its smart TVs and monitors. It uses generative AI to personalize home entertainment to the next level through conversational experiences. The company will push the new AI capabilities via software update later this month, starting in Korea, North America, and select European markets, with other markets to follow.
Samsung boosts home entertainment with Vision AI Companion
Samsung first introduced the Vision AI concept at CES 2025. The goal was to enhance the home screen experience across TVs, monitors, and other displays. With the launch of Vision AI Companion, these ideas now come to life with a new level of personalization, device integration, and user support.
It makes TVs a key part of the connected home, offering personalized recommendations, smarter multi-device interactions, and intuitive support for your daily life. With the Bixby voice assistant, the AI system offers a more natural and conversational interaction. Furthermore, it helps users easily discover content and get contextual answers to their questions.

You just need to simply press the AI button on your remote control, and multiple AI agents will give smart responses to questions. Vision AI Companion lets you ask your Samsung TV about anything on screen, such as movie details and travel spots. It provides answers with related videos and images, making discovery more immersive than other AI assistants.
Vision AI Companion combines Samsung’s key AI features into one experience. It offers Live Translate for real-time translation for conversations, while Generative Wallpaper offers dynamic visuals. Likewise, AI Picture, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and AI Upscaling Pro automatically optimize picture and sound. Furthermore, AI Gaming Mode improves gameplay with AI-powered performance, while Copilot and Perplexity provide task support.
“At Samsung, we’re investing in technology that makes experiences more personal, more intuitive, and built for the future,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Customer Experience Team at the Visual Display Business of Samsung Electronics. “With Vision AI Companion, we are redefining what a TV can do, going beyond picture quality and sound to deliver an experience that understands you, interacts with you, and evolves with you over time.”
