The Galaxy S25 series will be the first to receive One UI 8, setting the stage for a wider rollout. Other models, like the Galaxy S23 and Tab S10 series, may follow in October. The company may upgrade all eligible models to One UI 8 before the end of the year.

One UI 8 represents the fastest turnaround for a major Samsung update, arriving in the same year as its predecessor, One UI 7. The speed is largely thanks to the Korean firm’s tighter collaboration with Google, which has ensured that Android 16 and One UI 8 are ready earlier than usual. Samsung missed its chance to truly impress fans, but this is still a remarkable comeback after the One UI 7 disaster.

As of this writing, Samsung hasn’t confirmed an exact date for the One UI 8 stable release. However, the launch window is set for September 2025.
