Official: Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra with Key Upgrades

Samsung has officially launched the new Galaxy Tab S11 series, introducing the 11-inch Tab S11 and 14.6-inch S11 Ultra models. The series sets new standards for flagship Android tablets with major hardware and software enhancements, stylish accessories, and high productivity features. Both models are now available for purchase globally.

Galaxy Tab S11 series: Full specs and features

Both Galaxy Tab S11 models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with 1,600 nits of peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. The Ultra offers a screen resolution of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels, while it’s 2,560 x 1,600 for the base Tab S11. The latter also lacks anti-reflection coatings, though you may get an add-on screen protector with anti-reflective properties.

These tablets debut a new S Pen with a unique hexagonal grip and cone-shaped tip. The S Pen is cross-compatible with previous Galaxy tablets and does not require charging, making it a convenient standalone tool for users. Both slates are built with IP68 water/dust resistance and Samsung’s Armor AL body for durability.

The Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ processor built on 3nm technology, ensuring smooth and powerful multitasking suitable for both work and play. Storage options range up to 1TB and 16GB RAM on Ultra, plus MicroSD expansion up to 2TB across all models. The S11 comes with 12GB RAM as standard, with up to 512GB storage.

On the camera front, the Ultra model offers a dual rear setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultrawide lens. There’s a 12MP selfie camera on the front. The base Tab S11 lacks an ultrawide lens on the back, but the other two cameras carry over unchanged. Both models deliver premium sound through quad speakers and feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The smaller model packs an 8,400 mAh battery, while the S11 Ultra impresses with 11,600 mAh capacity and 45W charging support (charger sold separately). The tablets ship with Android 16 and One UI 8, featuring an upgraded Samsung DeX experience now supporting up to four workspaces for advanced productivity scenarios. Price and availability

Marking a departure from typical pre-order campaigns, the Galaxy Tab S11 series is available immediately as of September 4, 2025. However, the Pro Keyboard Cover won’t be available until 2026. It’s also worth noting that the global variants come with 5G options, but the US doesn’t get cellular connectivity on either model. You can pick both tablets in Gray or Silver. Prices start at $1,199 for the Ultra and $799 for the base Galaxy Tab S11.
