Galaxy S23 Green Line Issue? Samsung India Offers Free Repairs Through 2025

The green line issue has been affecting several Samsung phones recently, including the Galaxy S23 series. Most cases have been reported in India, and Samsung has confirmed that it will repair the green line for free. According to a support executive, the deadline for this offer has now been extended to December 31, 2025.

Tarun Vats posted a conversation with a Samsung support executive in India. The executive confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series is now eligible for a free green line replacement. The previous deadline of September 30, 2025, has been extended to December 31, 2025. This gives more users affected by the issue the opportunity to get their phones repaired.

The support executive stated that the green line replacement “applies only to device(s) purchased within three years from the invoice date.” They also noted that the device should not have any physical damage.
Previously, we spoke to another user with a Galaxy S23 who experienced the same issue. They confirmed that it took Samsung over a week to replace the screen. When asked about any charges, they said they were only billed for labor. We obtained the e-receipt, which showed that Samsung charged INR 649.
So, if you own a Galaxy S23 series phone affected by the green line issue, you can now visit a service center with confidence that it will be repaired.
