Samsung Launches Galaxy A07 with Six Years of Updates Under $100

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A07, its most affordable smartphone of 2025 so far. It’s a 4G/LTE handset packing a well-rounded set of features designed to deliver durability, long-term support, and reliable performance at a budget-friendly price. The phone should be available worldwide in the coming weeks.

Galaxy A07: Key specifications and features

The Galaxy A07 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, making everyday scrolling and app navigation more fluid than its predecessor. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Storage expansion is also available via microSD cards, supporting up to 2TB. As mentioned above, connectivity is limited to 4G LTE, with no 5G support.

The phone comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W Super Fast charging, ensuring all-day usage with minimal downtime. Like the Galaxy A17 5G, Samsung includes a 25W adapter in the box in select markets, though a charger may be missing in most regions.

On the camera front, the Galaxy A07 features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro camera, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. The phone ships with Android 15-based One UI 7. More impressively, Samsung promises six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates, a first in this price segment.

The handset also boasts Samsung Knox Vault security and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, all in a slim and light design at 7.6mm thickness and 184 grams in weight. The back is made of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), offering improved durability without adding bulk.

Price and availability

The Galaxy A07 is available in Black, Green, and Light Violet/Light Purple color options. Samsung has announced its availability in Indonesia and Vietnam, with more markets to follow soon. Pricing starts at just IDR 1,399,000 (approx. USD 86) for the 4GB RAM model with 64GB of storage in Indonesia.
