Samsung’s latest Odyssey G7 monitors offer an improved gaming experience
Samsung says it has remained the global leader in the gaming monitor market for six years in a row. With its latest release, the company now aims to strengthen its position. It has taken advantage of the world’s largest gaming event, Gamescom 2025, to introduce the latest Odyssey G7 monitors.
The new Odyssey G7 (model number: G75F) monitor is available in two sizes: 37-inch and 40-inch. The former features 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio, while the latter offers WUHD 5K2K (5,120×2,160) resolution with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both feature a 1000R curved display with a 165Hz and 180Hz refresh rate, respectively.

For gamers, the monitors bring the ability to split-screen with Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP). Both model comes with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and 350 nits of brightness. This ensures excellent contrast and vivid color reproduction during gaming and video streaming. To further enhance gameplay, the monitors offer HDR10+ Gaming for optimized HDR performance.
Thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the adaptive sync technology helps reduce lag and image tears. Likewise, CoreSync synchronizes the monitor’s ambient backlight with on-screen visuals for a more immersive gaming experience. Another notable feature is Auto Source Switch+, which automatically detects inputs when devices are connected or powered on. You get versatile connectivity options, including one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
The Odyssey G7 monitors are now available for purchase directly from the official store. You can buy the 37-inch model for $899 and the 40-inch model for $1,199. Meanwhile, if you are looking for an ultra-high refresh rate monitor, you can check out the newly released 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6, which offers a 500Hz refresh rate.
