Galaxy S25 Series Hits 3 Million Sales in Korea, Breaks S24 Record

Six months into their global release, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 phones remain one of the best Android flagships. Unsurprisingly, the devices are getting solid responses from buyers around the world. The company recently announced that it reached a milestone of 3 million units sold in its home country, South Korea.
Galaxy S25 series reaches 3 million sales faster than the S24 series
Last year’s Galaxy S24 series performed pretty well thanks to the introduction of Galaxy AI. The trend continued with the latest flagships, breaking previous sales records. In May 2025, Samsung announced it had surpassed 2 million sales in its home country, and this month the figure jumped to 3 million.
Samsung says it reached this milestone about two months ahead of its predecessor. Speaking of the increasing number of sales, the company credits it to the “New Galaxy AI Subscription Club” plan. This guarantees buy-back of the phone at up to 50% of the retail price after one year.

In its recent Q2 2025 financial report, Samsung said that its MX (Mobile eXperience) business saw growth in both revenue and operating profit. The Galaxy S25 series played a big role in contributing to the strong performance. So what makes the 2025 flagship lineup so attractive? Well, the device has integrated cutting-edge on-device AI features with multimodal capabilities.
For example, Now Brief feature shows personalized briefing from select apps, helping you to stay updated throughout the day. Thanks to Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, it makes the processing faster for AI tasks on the device. This advanced capability is not yet available on the Galaxy S24 series, and there is no word on whether it will be added in the future.
Furthermore, Samsung also talked about the performance of the newly released foldable series. Samsung says that sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are also far above those of their predecessors. As of now, the company has not shared exact figures, but they may be revealed in the coming weeks.
If you are eyeing the Galaxy S25, now’s the perfect time. Samsung is running a limited-time deal where you can get an $80 discount.
