Samsung Updates QuickStar and NavStar for One UI 8 Compatibility

With One UI 8 now official, Samsung is rapidly updating its Good Lock suite for One UI 8 devices. The latest modules to receive compatibility updates are QuickStar and NavStar, both of which are now optimized for Samsung’s newest software version based on Android 16. NotiStar, Home Up, and Game Booster+ still lack One UI 8 support.
Good Lock’s QuickStar and NavStar modules are now ready for One UI 8
QuickStar, a long-time fan favorite in the Good Lock ecosystem, has been updated to version 9.0.00.01, introducing One UI 8 support. Samsung has also resolved known bugs for enhanced stability. This module allows users to customize the Quick Panel, including changing layout, icon visibility, colors, and even system indicators.
Likewise, Samsung has updated NavStar to version 8.0.00.4, ensuring smooth functioning on devices running One UI 8 (thanks, @theordysm). This update also quashes known bugs and improves the user interface for more effortless customizations. NavStar lets Galaxy users tweak the navigation bar (including the Back, Home, and Recents buttons). They can now enjoy greater control over navigation gestures and button layout.
As mentioned above, Samsung has yet to enable One UI 8 compatibility for all Good Lock modules. However, it has updated a bunch of apps with One UI 8 support in recent weeks, so expect the likes of Home Up and Game Booster+ to work on the new version soon. If you want to install the latest versions of QuickStar or NavStar, head over to the Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates. You can also update via the Good Lock app.
As far as the One UI 8 rollout is concerned, the Galaxy S25 series may receive the stable build in early August if not in July. Other eligible models should join the party soon afterward. Samsung should update all eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets to One UI 8 before the end of the year.
