Samsung Updates SkyGuide and CameraShift Modules in Galaxy Enhance-X

Samsung has released fresh updates for its SkyGuide and CameraShift modules within Galaxy Enhance-X. The latest update appears to contain bug fixes and stability enhancements for a smoother user experience. The new versions are rolling out to Galaxy users via the Galaxy Store.

Samsung enhances Galaxy Enhance-X with new updates for SkyGuide and CameraShift

Galaxy Enhance-X is an AI-powered photo and video editing app for Galaxy devices from Samsung. It offers a wide range of features that let you quickly enhance the look of your photos. Earlier this year, the company adopted a Good Lock-style approach for this app, introducing additional downloadable modules.

At launch, Samsung announced CameraShift and SkyGuide as the two downloadable tools within Galaxy Enhance-X, with plans to add more in the future. So far, we haven’t seen any new modules, but the company has rolled out new updates for the existing ones. CameraShift has been updated to version 15.0.30, while SkyGuide moves to version 15.0.24 (thanks, @MEMETCAN88).

As the name suggests, CameraShift lets you virtually adjust the camera angle to improve the composition of your photo. You can make the subject look taller or shorter depending on your need. SkyGuide, meanwhile, tells you the position of various stars and constellations in the night sky. Samsung says this tool works best if your image contains at least 20 stars.

Samsung hasn’t included any release notes with these updates, so it’s unclear what’s new. By the looks of it, the new versions bring functional enhancements with bug fixes. You can update both modules directly from Galaxy Enhance-X. Simply swipe up the Downloadable features panel at the bottom and update CameraShift and SkyGuide.

The Korean firm intends to bring more advanced editing tools to Galaxy devices through Galaxy Enhance-X. It recently introduced an AI-powered slo-mo function to mid-range devices through this app. We will keep you posted on future updates for the app.
