If not, we’ll likely see them available by July 1. As the launch date approaches, a new report reveals that both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will include the Google AI Pro plan (fka, Gemini Advanced).

You might get free Google AI Pro with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7

While digging through version 16.23.69.sa.arm64 of the Google app beta, the folks at Android Authority uncovered some interesting details. One of them confirms that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will be eligible for a free Google AI Pro plan. However, the full details of Google’s offer for these new foldables remain under wraps.

What is clear is that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will likely come with a free trial of AI Pro. But it’s unclear how long the trial will last. For comparison, Galaxy S25 buyers received six months of free access to Gemini Advanced. If we had to guess, Samsung will probably offer a similar deal with the new foldables.

It would make sense for them to match that offer. Still, until Samsung or Google officially confirms it, we can’t say for certain how long the free trial will last for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. Meanwhile, recent rumors suggest that Gemini Live could take center stage at Samsung’s upcoming July Unpacked event. All signs point to Samsung putting equal emphasis on both hardware and software this time around.

So far, we know that both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are getting major redesigns. While the Z Fold 7 is expected to be larger and slimmer, the Z Flip 7 will reportedly feature a more refined and visually appealing cover screen.
