Samsung recently announced a three-year partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The Korean company will use its flagship Galaxy S25+ smartphone to offer visitors innovative ways to engage with the world’s largest collection of Vincent van Gogh’s artwork. On top of that, it plans to launch Van Gogh Museum-branded cases for Galaxy smartphones.

Samsung teams up with Van Gogh Museum to enhance visitor experience with Galaxy S25+

Samsung usually puts the spotlight on the Galaxy S25 Ultra or the standard Galaxy S25 when promoting its flagship lineup. For instance, during the recent Galaxy Gear Up Cup competition at the LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas, the Galaxy S25 Ultra took center stage. However, the company now plans to give more attention to the Galaxy S25+ model as well, which has not performed well in terms of sales compared to its siblings.

Samsung says its partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam makes the visitor experience better using Galaxy S25+ smartphones. The Van Gogh Museum introduced its new audio tour on June 10 to deliver an upgraded storytelling experience. The redesigned audio tour includes 1,600 Galaxy S25+ smartphones for a more compact, lightweight, and user-friendly interface.

Also, if you look closely at the pictures Samsung provided, you might notice that the Galaxy S25+ appears to be missing a front camera. It’s still a mystery whether this is a custom device destined for a museum or something else entirely.

This setup will also offer visitors a clearer voice audio and improved display quality. Furthermore, Samsung has promised to integrate cutting-edge Galaxy AI features into future upgrades of the audio tour to deliver a more personalized visitor experience.

“We believe technology should open doors to inspiration and connection,” said Sean Yun, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Benelux. “Our partnership with the Van Gogh Museum is a powerful example of how mobile innovation can bring cultural experiences to life in more intuitive and personal ways for people everywhere.”

Van Gogh Museum-branded cases for Galaxy devices

As part of the partnership, Samsung will also launch special Van Gogh-themed phone cases inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s famous paintings. It will list these cases for purchase at Samsung Experience Stores and the Samsung Online Store in the Netherlands. Furthermore, visitors will be able to buy directly from the Van Gogh Museum shop.

If you’re planning to buy a large-screen Galaxy S flagship device with a powerful battery, but don’t want to pay the higher price of the Ultra model, the Galaxy S25+ could be a solid choice. You can buy it directly from the official Samsung US website with up to $530 instant trade-in credit.
