Google AI Pro Subscribers Can Now Try Veo 3 AI Video Generator

The Google I/O event was quite the spectacle, pulling curtains off a slew of new features. Among them was the highly anticipated Google AI Ultra plan, priced at $249.99 per month. Now, the company has announced that Google AI Ultra subscribers can finally get their hands on Veo 3, starting today.

A week after the event, Google shared more details about its AI plans, including the new Veo 3 AI video tool and other updates. One important announcement is that Google AI Pro users can now access Veo 3. Before, they only had Veo 2, so this is a big upgrade.

However, Google AI Pro users can only make up to ten trial videos with Veo 3. For example, someone could use Veo 3 to create a short video of a birthday party or a dog playing at the park, but after ten videos, they would need to upgrade to keep going. AI Pro users also have limited access to Veo 3 in the Flow app.
To make AI content easier to identify, Google is adding a visible watermark to all AI-generated videos, except those created in Flow under the AI Ultra plan. In addition to the visible watermark, all AI videos will also have an invisible SynthID watermark. Google has also started testing the SynthID Detector tool with a small group and plans to make it available to more users soon.
There is also good news for users in the United Kingdom. Google has expanded the AI Ultra plan to the UK, bringing the total number of supported countries to 73 (via Android Authority). This means UK users can now enjoy the full suite of AI tools, including unlimited access to Veo 3.
