Samsung Begins Testing One UI 8 for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

Samsung has just rolled out the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. For now, the Galaxy S25 Edge is missing from the beta lineup, likely because it hasn’t hit shelves yet. Notably, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have also been spotted running One UI 8. Now, it looks like Samsung is turning its attention to tablets, as a fresh tip reveals the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra running One UI 8.

As spotted by Alfatürk, Samsung has now begun testing Android 16-based One UI 8 for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. On Geekbench, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (SM-X926B) was spotted running an Android 16 build, which corresponds to One UI 8. The firmware version in question, helpfully provided by the source, is X926BXXU3CYE2.

It’s well known that the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is definitely in line for big update. But Samsung speeding up internal testing could mean it’s also headed for early beta testing. There are still a few weeks until One UI 8 goes public. So it’s plausible the Galaxy Tab S10 series could join the beta in the next round.

That said, Samsung has also confirmed that the One UI 8 stable release will launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. The release date is still under wraps, but we expect the new foldables to launch in July. Once the One UI 8 stable version is official and the new foldables launch with it, it will pave the way for a wider rollout to all eligible devices. Speaking of which, there are a bunch of devices likely to receive the One UI 8 stable update.
