Galaxy users in the US are in for a treat today. Samsung is rolling out One UI 7 to a bunch of devices. The Galaxy S22 and S21 series are accompanied by the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and S23 FE to the One UI 7 party. Samsung has already updated all newer flagships to Android 15.
One UI 7 rolls out to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and S23 FE in the US
After a slow start, Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout has picked up pace. The update is now rapidly making its way into multiple Galaxy devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and S23 FE are the latest to pick it up in the US. All of these devices received One UI 7 in Korea a few days ago, so this marks a global release.
As of this writing, One UI 7 is available for both carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3. The locked units are picking up the firmware build version KYDA, while it’s KYD9 for the unlocked ones. As for the Galaxy S23 FE, we can confirm the rollout only for the locked unit, with the update carrying the build version DYDB.
It shouldn’t be long before Samsung rolls out One UI 7 for these devices nationwide for all variants. Users in other parts of the world should also soon pick up this update. Additionally, Samsung is preparing One UI 7 for a bunch of other models, with the rollout continuing through to June or even July, depending on the market.
One UI 7, Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices, brings a fresh look, smoother performance, and helpful new features. You get improved animations, better privacy settings, smarter tools for multitasking, and new AI-driven experiences. It also adds more ways to customize your device and works even better with other Galaxy products.
