The One UI 7 floodgates have truly opened. Samsung is now rolling out the big Android 15 update to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 as well. This follows the One UI 7 stable release for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Tab S10, Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy Tab S9 earlier today.

While the One UI 7 rollout began on April 7, Samsung halted the update a few days later due to bugs. By the time it paused the rollout, the update was available for the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, Flip 6, and Fold SE in South Korea, the US, Canada, and Europe. After a brief halt, the rollout resumed last week with the release of a hotfix for users who installed the buggy release.
Samsung was expected to expand the update for these devices globally this week, but it hasn’t yet. Meanwhile, it has released One UI 7 for a bunch of other devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 are the latest to grab the Android 15-based update. As expected, the rollout begins in Korea, where users are getting the build version EYD9.
The update weighs around 4.8GB for the Fold model. The update size should be similar for the Flip model as well, though it could vary depending on the region. Regardless, the changes should remain the same. One UI 7 is a big update containing tons of goodies. From a UI overhaul to advanced AI features, it brings a lot of new things to your Galaxy smartphone.
Samsung is expected to roll out the One UI 7 update for these devices globally in the coming days. It should also release the update for more Galaxy smartphones and tablets soon.
