Samsung’s reservation pages for the Galaxy S26 are now live, and if your first thought was “this feels… smaller than last year”, you were right. The company has noticeably trimmed reservation perks in most parts of the world. Compared to the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung now guarantees fewer freebies and smaller vouchers when you reserve and pre-order the new flagships. Samsung cuts Galaxy S26 reservation gifts to save costs

Pre-reservations are a no-commitment way to show interest in Samsung’s upcoming flagship phones. You simply share your contact details with Samsung to receive a purchase link once the devices go official (in some regions, reservations may require a small, refundable upfront payment). In return, the company typically guarantees certain perks if you go on to complete the purchase. These benefits may include instant credits, shopping vouchers, free accessories, or other region-specific incentives, depending on the market.

While Galaxy S26 reservations still come with exclusive perks, the overall value has clearly been trimmed compared to last year. In the US, customers now receive a $30 Samsung Shop credit for reserving the next Galaxy, along with “up to $900” in additional savings through trade-in bonuses, storage upgrades, and related incentives. For the Galaxy S25 series, those figures stood at $50 in reservation credit and up to $1,250 in total savings.

Samsung has made similar adjustments across Europe, the UK, India, and several other markets. Let us take a quick look at primary Galaxy S26 reservation benefits in select regions, compared with the Galaxy S25 series:

• The UK: £30 voucher (down from £50)
• Europe: €30 voucher in some countries (down from €50)
• Australia: $50 voucher (down from $100)
• Canada: $50 voucher (down form $100)
• India: ₹2,699 voucher (down from ₹5,000)
• South Africa: R500 voucher (down from R1,000)

In the UK, Europe, and select other regions, Samsung has confirmed a free storage upgrade too (this perk existed last year). However, there are indications that this offer may not be universally available in every region. Historically, Samsung tends to formally detail storage upgrade offers at the start of pre-orders rather than during the reservation phase, so we’ll need to wait a couple of weeks for complete clarity.
