You May Not Like Some Early Leaks About Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold

Samsung is expected to launch the next generation of foldables at its usual July Unpacked event. According to rumors, the company could debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at the event. If we’re lucky, we might also see the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE make its debut, although the chances are slim. Additionally, there are reports of a tri-fold device in the works, but it may not launch until early 2026.

Tipster leaks a bunch of info regarding Galaxy tri-fold, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7

A reliable tipster, PandaFlashPro, has revealed a lot of information about the tri-fold, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Fold 7. While none of this is new, as we’ve heard similar rumors before, the tipster’s confirmation adds credibility. This means we can be fairly confident that these features may make it to the final products we’ll see.

According to PandaFlashPro, Samsung’s debut tri-fold ‘might’ lack an under-display camera. This was suggested earlier, and now it seems almost certain that we won’t see an under-display camera on the Galaxy tri-fold (or whatever it ends up being called). There’s another disappointing detail as well, which I hope is limited to prototypes. The tipster claims that the Galaxy tri-fold could support only 25W charging speeds. That’s one of the very disappointing information about Galaxy tri-fold in the stream of leaks.

For what it’s worth, these tips are based on early prototypes that may not make it to the final product. That’s important to note, especially since Samsung is now shipping even mid-range devices with 45W charging support. The Galaxy S25 is an exception, but the idea of a flagship foldable supporting only 25W charging isn’t promising.

Next, the tipster mentions that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 won’t compromise on the processor. While it was certain that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 would feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite, there had been some rumors about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 possibly using an Exynos chip. However, PandaFlashPro suggests that’s not the case. We’ll know what comes true soon.
