Where is Samsung’s Pro Keyboard for Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra?

Update 01/14 1:30 PM EST: On Reddit, user Scary_Ad_2 posted that the Galaxy S11 Ultra’s Pro Keyboard has passed regulatory certification in Korea with the model number “EF-DX935.” This suggests we are closer than ever to seeing it finally launch. Original reporting follows below.
It’s been a few months since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 series at its Unpacked event in September 2025. At that time, the company also announced the Pro Keyboard case for the new tablets. However, there’s no sign of it yet — not a single word, not even a hint. As time drags on, the absence of the Pro Keyboard is becoming increasingly frustrating for Galaxy Tab S11 owners like myself.
While we do have the Book Cover Keyboard Slim available at our disposal, it’s particularly designed for use on a desk. It isn’t the most portable setup when you’re out and about. Personally, the number of times it’s almost fallen out of my lap is too many I’d like to count. We need a true laptop-like keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

Where is the transparency from Samsung?
When the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra debuted, it was exciting to see Samsung deliver a slimmer notch on the Ultra model and bring back the compact 11-inch size. We even received a sleek, redesigned S Pen.
But as far as the Pro Keyboard is concerned, we haven’t heard a single peep from Samsung since launch. The company did say the keyboard won’t be available until 2026, but there’s been no follow-up. We don’t even know what exactly the keyboard will offer.
It’s understandable that Samsung wouldn’t want to release a half-baked product. But it is incredibly frustrating as a user who is paying for a premium product, which retails at $1,199, and knows next to nothing. The company could provide at least a more specific timeline. When exactly in 2026?

Heading over to Reddit, we can see one user’s potential migration from Apple to Samsung has halted because there isn’t a keyboard with a touchpad available. Another isn’t satisfied with the current Book Cover Keyboard Slim and believes Samsung has forgotten about the Pro Keyboard.
Delays can happen, but it is clear that Samsung’s lack of transparency behind this product is actively hurting the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra’s potential and has frustrated its users.
