When Can You Buy the Galaxy S26 Series in the US?

Samsung will likely announce the upcoming Galaxy S26 series at Unpacked later this month. According to reports, Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, which means there won’t be a Pro or Edge model, if you were hoping for one. Leaks also suggest Galaxy Unpacked could take place on February 25 in San Francisco.

Galaxy S26 series preorders seemingly begin February 26 in the US

So what does this mean for Galaxy S26 series’ sales period? Based on recent history, pre-orders usually open shortly after Samsung announces new phones, with retail availability following a few days later, more often about two weeks after. According to Ice Universe, pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series will begin on February 26 and run through March 4. 

Samsung will then hold a “pre-sale period” from March 5-March 10. Retail availability i.e. sales would start on March 11 for the Galaxy S26 series in the US and likely in other markets as well. Eagle-eyed Samsung fans might notice that the release date should’ve been March 13. Samsung is reportedly moving it up to avoid Friday the 13th. None of this is official, so take it with a pinch of salt. That said, the leaker has a solid track record.
