The One UI 7.0 update brings a major visual enhancement to Samsung’s custom Android software. Alongside a UI overhaul, the company introduced animation and sound upgrades. Ice Universe recently posted an audio clip containing new tunes for screen locking, unlocking, and charging for Galaxy devices. The updated sound effects feel crisper and more refined. You can listen to them below.

Samsung will roll these sound effects to the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 7.0 Beta 3. The new beta update could go live in supported markets within the next few days. Other Galaxy devices will also receive this update in the coming weeks, with a wider rollout expected to begin in February.

Meanwhile, the tipster shared a video highlighting improvements in fingerprint unlocking with the third One UI 7.0 beta update. The video showcases a Galaxy S24 Ultra, allegedly running the latest internal beta build, displaying noticeably smoother animations and faster fingerprint recognition. These enhancements reflect Samsung’s dedication to refining the aesthetics and responsiveness of the One UI software this year.

As of this writing, Samsung hasn’t officially announced a release date for the third One UI 7.0 beta update. However, rumors suggest the rollout could begin later this week or early next week. The company seemingly doesn’t plan to launch beta programs for other devices. The stable rollout will begin at the end of this month, following the Galaxy S25 launch.
