Verizon is offering a Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra, which normally retail between $799 and $1,299, at no upfront cost when customers activate a new line on one of its eligible plans:

• Unlimited Welcome – $55 a month with Auto Pay
• Unlimited Plus – $45 a month with Auto Pay
• Unlimited Ultimate – $30 a month with Auto Pay

You need to sign up for the Unlimited Ultimate plan to get the Galaxy S25 Ultra for free. The Galaxy S25+ can be yours at no upfront cost if you add an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate line. Finally, you can add a line on any of these Unlimited plans to grab the base Galaxy S25 for free. There is a one-time $40 activation fee, though.

Now, you must be thinking there’s a catch. Yes, there is. You need to keep the line active for three years, i.e., 36 months. Verizon will cover the full cost of the phone through monthly bill credits for 36 months. If you cancel the contract or switch to an ineligible plan, the monthly credits stop, and the remaining balance on the phone becomes payable.
