T-Mobile Launches T-Satellite with Support for Several Galaxy Devices

After months of beta testing, T-Mobile has now officially launched its satellite service to everyone across the US. Dubbed T-Satellite, this next-gen technology uses Starlink satellites to provide users with network access in places with no mobile signal. If you have an eligible Galaxy device and a subscription to the service, your phone will automatically connect to satellite when traditional cellular coverage is unavailable.
T-Mobile’s satellite service is now live for everyone
With T-Satellite, you can send and receive text messages, share your location, and text 911 emergency services. On top of that, you can send pictures and voice messages through Google Messages on supported devices. This is particularly useful for people who spend time in remote areas where cell towers are out of reach.
T-Satellite automatically connects your smartphone to a constellation of 650+ satellites. It covers the Continental US, including Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and parts of southern Alaska. When connected, it will show the network name T-Mobile SpaceX on your device. Now you don’t have to worry when no other service is available.
The good news is that the satellite service is not limited to T-Mobile customers. It is available as a standalone subscription for $10 per month, with plans to increase the price to $15 in the future. If you are on the carrier’s Experience Beyond or older Go5G plans, you can access the service for free.
As of now, T-Satellite is compatible with over 60 phones from brands like Samsung, Apple, Google, and Motorola. Speaking of supported Galaxy smartphones, they include devices from high-end to affordable models across the Galaxy S, A, Z, and XCover series.
