Some Galaxy Users Report One UI 8 Beta Signup Issues on Members App

Samsung recently opened its Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program, allowing select users to try the latest software early. However, it looks like some eligible users are having trouble joining the beta program. They are seeing various errors when trying to register through the Samsung Members app. There might be a few reasons, which we will explore in this article.
For the past couple of weeks, Samsung fans have been getting glimpses of One UI 8 through internal testing. Now that the Korean firm is allowing users to try the software officially through public beta programs, they are eager to join. Unsurprisingly, the firm has limited the beta to select countries and specific devices, so it’s not available for everyone. Right now, the One UI 8 beta is live for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in Germany, Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
One UI 8 beta rollout begins, but signup issues surface
However, despite being eligible for the beta program, some users are experiencing issues during the signup process for the beta on the Samsung Members app. An affected user wrote on X, “I keep getting this message: Samsung Members isn’t supported in this region.” The user is from the UK and tried to join using a Galaxy S25 smartphone.
Surprisingly, the Samsung Members setting page displays withdraw from beta, suggesting the user is already part of the program. However, there is no beta build showing up on the phone, which is a concern among users who meet the requirements.
So, what are the possible reasons for the issue? Samsung may have set a limited number of beta slots for the first wave, and the quota may have already been filled. In this case, you should wait for the second beta wave, which may take a few days or weeks. The Korean firm might also be facing some server-related issues due to the increasing number of simultaneous signups. If that’s the case, you have to wait until the company stabilizes the signup process.
Meanwhile, you can try some basic troubleshooting steps, including restarting the phone, clearing the app cache, and signing out/in your Samsung account. We will let you know if Samsung comments on the beta signup issue. Stay tuned.
