Snapdragon Wear Elite Spotted on Geekbench, Will Power Galaxy Watch Ultra 2026

At MWC earlier this month, Qualcomm confirmed the Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset. It also said that the next-gen Galaxy Watch (presumably the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2026) will come with Snapdragon Wear Elite. The next Galaxy Watch models may launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Wide Fold.
Snapdragon Wear Elite takes a walk on Geekbench revealing scores
As we inch closer, and there’s already a bulk of information coming out about the Galaxy foldables. Now, the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite has surfaced on Geekbench. LaidBackDev_ on X spotted the upcoming chipset on Geekbench, which lifts the veil off its single-core and multi-core scores.

The Snapdragon Wear Elite’s single-core score is 549 and its multi-core score is 931, which suggests there will be ample power for a smartwatch. Qualcomm had, in fact, said at the announcement that the Snapdragon Wear Elite is fabricated on a 3nm process. It combines a high-performance CPU core with four power-efficient cores.
What’s more, it also brings support for a couple of connectivity features that Galaxy Watch users may have been waiting for. Some of these include GNSS (including GPS), NB-IoT for satellite communication, 5G RedCap, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, ultra-wideband, and 5G. Obviously, it’s only a matter of time until we see the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2026 or Watch Ultra 2 (whichever name Samsung goes with).
As always, we can’t wait to see how much of this raw power translates to Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 performance. We’ll also pit it against the Galaxy Watch Ultra, so keep an eye on our coverage.
