After rolling out the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is now closing the doors on the One UI 7.0 beta program in the US. That’s just how Samsung rolls every year, and this year’s no different.
Samsung puts the final end to One UI 7.0 beta road for the Galaxy S24 series
In an update (via Reddit), Samsung announced that it’s now shutting down the One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in the US. “We are very grateful to all of you for your positive and active participation in the One UI Beta program,” reads the note. Samsung started the One UI 7.0 beta program in December first week. Hence, it wraps up after four months and a few extra days, which also helps explain the long wait.
When we first installed the One UI 7.0 beta on our Galaxy S24 Ultra in December 2024.
Samsung notes that once you install the One UI 7 update, you’ll no longer be able to view “reviews, suggestions, or tips” posted in the Beta section of the Samsung Members app. But honestly, that’s hardly a trade-off considering all the cool new stuff packed into the latest update. Samsung also shared a few pointers, which read:
- We are not going to release any new Beta software version.
- We are no longer going to provide any official reply to your opinion.
- Beta feedback usage will be stopped.
The good news, though, is that the One UI 7 update is now rolling out widely across the US. So far, we’ve seen it hit the Galaxy S24 series—both carrier-locked and unlocked models—as well as the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. And this list is only expected to grow in the coming days. Samsung plans to keep seeding the One UI 7 stable update to eligible devices through June. But by the end of it, every eligible device—including the Galaxy Tabs—should be rocking the latest software.
