The February 2025 update includes patches for more than 37 vulnerabilities. Of these, 25 are high-severity Android vulnerabilities, while the rest are Samsung-specific SVEs. Google’s fixes address the core Android system, while Samsung’s fixes apply only to Galaxy firmware. In simple terms, you should make sure your Galaxy device is updated to the latest security patch so that none of these issues put your data at risk.
If you own any of these Galaxy devices and live in Korea, you can install the latest security update right away. To do so, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update has downloaded, tap Install now. The installation may take a few minutes, after which your device will restart with the latest security patch installed.
