Samsung’s new foldables have finally been unveiled and are now available for pre-order in most parts of the world. As part of the launch offer, Samsung UK is presenting a deal that’s hard to pass up. Yes, honestly.

Samsung wants UK users to buy and try the new foldables

Starting this week, customers in the UK can buy and try the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, or the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. If they change their mind, they’ll have up to 100 days to return the device for a full refund. Samsung UK is calling it the “Buy and Try” promotion — and it really does work that way.

The promotion is available to anyone who purchases an eligible device between July 9 and August 19, whether online or in-store. To participate, customers need to register their purchase within 30 days at samsungoffers.claims/ukbuyandtry. The offer applies only to SIM-free models.

This is the longest return period Samsung has ever offered for a Galaxy device. According to the company, the idea is to give users a more realistic way to experience its foldables, especially now that Galaxy AI features add extra appeal. If a customer decides the phone isn’t right for them, they can return it anytime between day 45 and day 100 after purchase, as long as the device is in good condition. Samsung will issue a full refund. Customers who register for the offer will also receive a free case.

“Choosing a new smartphone is a big decision and people need peace of mind that they’re making the right call. Our ‘buy and try’ offer gives people an extra layer of reassurance when making such a significant purchase,” said Samsung UK’s Annika Bizon.

Of course, this may be more about nudging hesitant buyers than pure goodwill. Foldable phones are still a niche category, despite years of refinement, largely due to their high prices and concerns around durability. With the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, Samsung is hoping to finally push foldables into the mainstream.
