Samsung TVs Turn into Music Classrooms with Fender Play

Samsung has announced an exclusive global partnership with Fender, the world-famous guitar brand. This allows the company to bring the world’s first TV-optimized Fender Play, an online learning app for guitar, bass, and ukulele, directly to its smart TVs. The app will be available on 2025 and newer Samsung TVs in the first half of 2026, in 49 countries, including the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Samsung and Fender bring music lessons to your living room
Fender Play lets you learn instruments through a host of video lessons. The app is already available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Thanks to the TV-optimized version, it brings an immersive learning experience to the living room. You can pick from four instruments: electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and ukulele, and then follow the lessons.
Fender designed each course around familiar songs to make practice fun and motivating. Jam Mode lets players select a fun background and play along with curated tracks from different genres. Samsung says this app turns the largest screen at home into a place to learn and play together while helping players reach goals faster.
“We are thrilled to bring Fender Play’s immersive learning experience to Samsung TV users, helping guitar enthusiasts take their skills to the next level,” said Cliff Kim, VP of Growth Strategy, Digital Products at Fender and President of the Fender Play Foundation. “Our mission has always been to educate and inspire players globally and this partnership gives music lovers the opportunity to learn, practice and play with Fender Play’s high-quality, interactive lessons directly on their Samsung TV.”
Samsung also showcased the TV-optimized Fender Play at CES 2026 with on-screen demos. Meanwhile, the company confirmed that its select 2026 TVs will feature HDR10+ ADVANCED technology. This means lessons should look more vibrant, making the learning experience engaging on the large screen.
