Consumer Reports names Samsung as Best TV Brand of 2026
According to a Korean media report, Consumer Reports recently released its latest TV brand rankings based on reliability, customer satisfaction, and value for money. In the 2026 evaluation, Samsung led the chart with a total score of 74 points. The company’s rivals, LG Electronics and Roku, scored 72 points and 71 points, respectively.
The evaluation was based on a combination of performance tests and consumer survey data. Test areas included high-definition (HD/4K), HDR performance, motion blur, sound quality, and more. As for the survey, it collected feedback from people who bought TVs between 2015 and 2025.
Samsung’s 65-inch OLED TV (currently down $1,100) received praise for its solid overall performance. The TV scored 91 points in performance tests, which is quite impressive. “A well-balanced product that not only offers outstanding picture quality overall but also features top-tier HDR capabilities and excellent sound quality,” said Consumer Reports for the Samsung TV.
The OLED S90F TV features the advanced NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor that uses 128 neural networks. As such, we get incredible picture and sound quality while enjoying movies, streaming, gaming, and live sports. Thanks to 4K AI Upscaling Pro, lower-resolution content transforms to near-4K quality. For smoother viewing, the TV boasts Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, which reduces blur and lag.
