Samsung Teases “All-new” One UI 7, Tells Users to Get Ready

Samsung recently deleted its official One UI 7 rollout announcement in the US, hinting at a possible delay. However, similar announcements for other markets remain, suggesting the global launch is still set for April 7. Ahead of that, the company has published a video telling Galaxy users to “get ready for the all-new One UI 7.”

One UI 7 is finally ready for prime time, Samsung confirms

Samsung usually releases new One UI versions between October and November of the same year Google releases a new Android version. However, the Android 15-based One UI 7 has been delayed by several months — Google is already gearing up to launch Android 16. Unless there’s another delay, One UI 7 may finally go official on April 7 (April 10 in the US).

As we wait for it, Samsung released a new video highlighting the key features. One UI 7 introduces a personalized AI companion for Galaxy devices, enhancing user experience by learning habits and preferences. It simplifies tasks like finding local restaurants or editing photos with natural language interaction. This ensures data privacy while providing intuitive support tailored to individual needs.

Now Brief in One UI 7 offers a personalized and intuitive AI experience, enhancing daily interactions with your device. It adapts to user behavior, ensuring relevant information is easily accessible. Now Brief uses AI to learn from user behavior and use patterns, consolidating frequently accessed information and displaying it prominently on the lock screen.

Google Gemini is now available on the power button and is capable of responding to natural speech patterns, making interactions feel more personal and friendly. It simplifies tasks like adjusting settings or finding photos quickly. AI also makes photo editing a breeze, with Generative Edit and Sketch to Image letting you remove unwanted objects or add non-existing ones to your photos.

Samsung adds that user privacy is prioritized in One UI 7, as personal data remains secure. Hopefully, the update will arrive on the said date this time.
