Samsung Rolls Out One UI 7 for Galaxy M44 (Jump 3)

Samsung has released One UI 7 for the Galaxy M44, known as Jump 3 in South Korea. The rollout begins in Korea but should soon extend to more markets. Interestingly, the company originally planned to deliver One UI 7 to this phone ahead of June, so this release comes ahead of schedule. This signals the rapid expansion of Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices.
Galaxy M44 (Jump 3) jumps to Android 15 with One UI 7
South Korean Jump 3 users can identify the One UI 7 update for their phones with firmware version M446KKSU5DYE2. This update introduces a major visual and functional overhaul with a revamped UI design, new app icons featuring dynamic colors, smoother system animations, redesigned Quick Settings and Notification Panel with enhanced customization, and many more goodies.
One UI 7 brings Samsung’s software experience closer to modern Android design trends while still offering extensive customization. Alongside a bunch of new features and enhancements, the Jump 3 (Galaxy M44) gets security fixes and stability improvements.
Launched in late 2023, this phone shipped with Android 13 out of the box. It has now been updated to Android 14 and Android 15. The device is eligible for two more major OS upgrades, so it will receive new features until Android 17. The Android 16-based One UI 8 update should arrive later this year, with the final OS release following in 2026. Samsung is gearing up to launch One UI 8 beta programs for flagship devices in select markets.
Samsung also pushes regular security patches to the Galaxy M44, so expect a few more minor updates before One UI 8. You can always check for updates manually from the Settings app. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Note that users in some regions may have to wait longer than others. If you do not see any updates today, wait a few days and check again.
