Samsung Rolls Out November 2025 Update to Galaxy S25, S24 & S23 Lineups

Samsung seems to have finally opened the floodgates to its November 2025 security update. The latest security patches are now rolling out to its flagship phones from the past three generations. The Galaxy S25 series, S24 series, and S23 series are all picking up this update.
November 2025 update live for Galaxy S25, S24, and S23 series
This month’s security maintenance release (SMR) for Galaxy devices contains more than 40 patches. Samsung has already rolled out the fixes to a handful of models, but rollouts have been few and far between. It has finally started pushing the update in bulk. Alongside the regular Galaxy S25, S24, and S23 flagships, the S25 Edge, S25 FE, S24 FE, and S23 FE are also picking up this update.
As expected, the initial release covers units in select regions, mostly South Korea. However, a global rollout shouldn’t be too far away. The build version and OTA size vary depending on the model and region, but no device appears to bag anything more than this month’s security fixes. It’s no surprise, though, as all of these devices are now on One UI 8.
The Galaxy S25 FE shipped with One UI 8 out of the box, while others received the update recently. It brought new features, refined Galaxy AI tools, and a variety of quality-of-life upgrades. The latest release focuses on security enhancements, while Samsung is already testing One UI 8.5. The upcoming version brings a host of visual tweaks, smoother animations, and fresh customization options.
One UI 8.5 will debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026. Ahead of that, Samsung may run beta programs for the Galaxy S25 lineup. We will let you know when we have official confirmation. Meanwhile, if you own any of the aforementioned models, watch out for the latest security release. Galaxy users can always check for updates from Settings > Software update > Download and install.
