Samsung Reveals Team Galaxy for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games

Samsung has announced its new group of athletes for the 2026 Winter Games in Milano Cortina, Italy. Called Team Samsung Galaxy, the group brings together 68 athletes from 17 countries, representing both Olympic and Paralympic sports. The company chose athletes for their personal stories, with each showing openness both on and off the field.

As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, Samsung will support these athletes on their journey to Milano Cortina 2026. Through Team Samsung Galaxy, the company will deliver its central message, “Open always wins,” highlighting its belief that with an open mind, anything is possible. The team will share personal stories with fans around the world that show how openness guides their lives and careers.

Team Samsung Galaxy includes athletes from a bunch of winter sports, such as snowboarding, speed skating, skiing, bobsleigh, and cross-country skiing. These sports show creativity, self-expression, and the ability to perform under pressure. The team also features Olympic and Paralympic champions. For example, Olympic freestyle skiing champion Alex Hall of the United States, two-time Olympic snowboarding gold medalist Anna Gasser of Austria, and Paralympic alpine skiing champion Arthur Bauchet of France.

Within Team Samsung Galaxy, Alpine Skiing features athletes such as Federica Brignone and Dominik Paris, while Para Alpine Skiing includes names like Renè de Silvestro and Giacomo Bertagnolli. Likewise, Freestyle Skiing is represented by athletes including Simone Deromedis and Leonardo Donaggio, while snowboarding features athletes such as Gaon Choi and Roland Fischnaller.
